What is Stickman Fighter?

Stickman Fighter is a free, open-source 2D fighting game running entirely on HTML5 Canvas. It blends the directional command system of classic arcade fighters with the wave-based progression of beat-em-ups. Every move, every enemy behavior, every boss phase is defined as data in a registry — making the combat system both deep and infinitely extensible.

The game ships with four playable fighters, three weapon classes, four enemy archetypes, seven bosses with three-phase AI, an 8-bit synthesized soundtrack, and a complete Ki super-gauge system featuring six special moves including a screen-piercing energy beam and a finishing-blow Dragon Fist. No installs, no plugins, no accounts — just click Play.

Core Features

Tekken-Style Combat

Four-button input (left/right punch + left/right kick) with directional, sequential, and simultaneous command parsing. Over 40 moves with launchers, sweeps, and guard breaks.

Ki Super Gauge

Build meter by attacking, blocking, or charging. Unleash six escalating specials from Ki Blast (25%) all the way to the 100%-cost Dragon Fist ultimate.

Three Weapon Classes

Sword, staff, and nunchaku — each with a unique full moveset on every button. Switch weapons mid-stage and rewrite your combo tree.

Seven Bosses, 21 Phases

Iron Fist, Shadow Lord, Storm Monk, Venom Fang, Titan, Phantom Blade, and Dragon King. Each escalates aggression at 66% and 33% HP with signature moves.

Wave-Based Stages

Fourteen hand-crafted stages with named themes (Forest, Temple, Volcano, Sky, and more), plus procedural infinite mode after stage 15.

Synthesized 8-Bit BGM

Four-channel sequencer (melody, bass, arpeggio, percussion) with boss-specific themes — no external audio files required, generated live by the Web Audio API.

Combo Score System

Combo multiplier scales from 1.0x to 3.0x. Stage clear bonus rewards remaining HP, max combo, and time. Top-5 high scores saved to your browser.

Dash & Dodge

Directional Shift+arrow dash, invincible dodge roll, and a one-charge air dash for advanced movement and pressure tools.

How to Play

The controls are designed for both casual button-mashers and combo-hunters. Movement is on the arrow keys, attacks live on the home row of the left hand for speed, and the special button (Q) acts as the Ki charge.
